Monica Gets with the Program!
Okay, you guys convinced me! I set up a Facebook page that I'm planning to officially launch when THE VIPER comes out on October 18th. So stop by and let me know what you think. I'm hoping you guys will show me the ropes. It seemed much easier to set up this time around (I'd looked into it about a year ago), but hopefully I didn't screw anything up, LOL. It's a work in progress, so feedback is appreciated. I posted a bunch of pictures, so let me know if those don't show up...
Kids are back to school tomorrow...Hallelujah! (If you're in the mood for a little Jon Bon Jovi version of the song watch here).

The FB pages looks great! I was sure to Like the page! Pictures are showing up just fine as well as all the information you posted.
I'm sure you are looking forward to the kids going back to school, but I'm sure they aren't ready. It feels like they just got out. Where did the summer go? I'm not ready for fall. Though I'm ready for "The Viper!"
Thanks for the quick feedback, Corrie! Glad to know everything is showing up okay. I'm trying to figure out how to import my blog to the wall, but it's just showing up on my notes page. Sigh. I suspect this will take some time to get used to! I think I need a "facebook page for dummies." :)
I am SO looking forward to the kids going back to school. The summer did speed by (although the last four weeks with cast boy--my 14 year old--went VERY slow, LOL). I'm ready for THE VIPER, too. :) Not much longer...
The FB page looks great. You rock. =o)
I lost my girl to CSU last week. I'm still going through withdrawals. She's only 3 hrs away, and we're talking on FB, the phone, email... every day. It's just not the same.
Oh,so happy for you to be on FB, Monica...love the page!!!
School has resumed as of this week. My guy is coming for a visit from PA over Labor Day wkend!!!!
You're welcome!
I've never imported a blog to FB before but I was curious since I do run a few blogs and always end up posting just the links of the latest updates to my FB wall.
Did some quick research and found this. Hopefully it helps.

Oh, B.E., how sad! I'm dreading that day myself. I have six more years until my DD goes off to college, but I know it will zoom by. My DS is a freshman in HS this year--there was quite a bit of nervousness around the breakfast table this morning. I hope she adjusts well (as does her mom!). Sigh. Growing up--who needs it?
Thanks so much, Julie! It was surprisingly easy to get up, now I just have to figure out how to integrate everything. Happy back to school week for you--hope your last year goes smoothly and we hear about more of those dean's lists. :) Have fun with your soon-to-be-hubby!
Corrie,
Great minds--I found that one, too, but it's for a facebook profile not a page. I can get it to show up in my notes, it's just not cross-posting on the wall. I'll figure it out . . . eventually. LOL.
Looks great, Monica! I love that you have "The Viper"'s cover as your profile pic. Makes it extra yummy eye candy to see you in my Likes page. :D
Thanks so much, Madhura. And thanks for all the likes! Gotta love those covers! I made a nice "Cover Gods" album with all of them. :)
LOVE IT! The page looks great! LOVE the cover gods too! yumm.. for sure! LOL! My kiddos aren't supposed to start school till next week but there is now talk it may be an extra week because the new elementary school is not quite ready... This is a bittersweet year for me because although my oldest is driving me bonkers, my babies, (I have twin 5 year olds) start kindergarten this year! It's one of those things that makes me feel so old and very sad! LOL! So maybe school next week???? who knows.... anyway... (I get carried away!) LOL! Im sure the day will come when I will be ready for summer vacation to be over and send them all off to school. It just seems to go way too fast! I think I need the Viper to cheer me up! LOL! cant wait!! =)
Thanks, Kim! I really appreciate it. Glad you liked those Cover Gods, too. :) How funny that we were in the same situation as you last summer--our elementary school was rebuilt and required a late start to the year (we also lost ski week for the year). How sad about the little ones going into K. I remember that. It really goes by so fast when they get in school. Those young years seemed to go by VERY slow. Viper will be here soon to cheer you up!
*wanders over to Facebook*
=)
Love it, Natalie! Thanks for the like. :)
Yay! Welcome to Facebook.
Thanks, Lesley!
Heading over to Facebook now!
Thanks, Diane--it's been fun so far. :)
