The Campbells Are Here!
I'm thrilled to announce that HIGHLAND WARRIOR, the first book in my new back-to-back trilogy is now in stores. It's a big day in the bookstores with tons of great romances being released, so I hope you'll check it out. I love hearing sightings, so if you are out-and-about and see it, let me know where.
P.S. I'm being interviewed over at TGTBTU today for their very first DUCK CHAT so pop on over and say "hi."

YAY!!! Your last release showed up in my local grocery store, so I've got my fingers crossed this one will be here today. (If not, the closest bookstore to me is an hour away, so I'll have to wait. I hate waiting.)
Hey B.E.,
I hope it's there, too! Last time it seemed to take a couple of days to show up in my local grocery stores, but definitely let me know if it's there. I'm impatient when it comes to new books, too.
Happy Release Day, Monica. I can't wait to get my hands on "Highland Warrior."
Thanks so much, Jane...hope you love it. :)
Happy Release day Monica! I wasn't able to stop and pick up the book today but hopefully I can swing by during lunch hour tomorrow. School and work has been kicking my butt. Still want you to swing by and do an interview with our site if you have a chance. Let me know offline!
Hope all is well..and can't believe I missed the contest!
Happy release day and here is to hoping that the book makes the bestsellers!
Hugs,
Ing
YAY!!! I have your book =] unfortunatly it was a hastle to get... no where had it and when they were supposed to have it, it wasnt unpacked yet (I got them to get it for me).
Congrats!!
Ing,
So great to hear from you. Hope all has been well. I can't wait for you to read this book, I'm thinking we might finally knock Rory off...
I've been so busy, too, so I feel the pain. I'll contact you off line, but yes. Thanks for all the well wishes, it's a pretty crowded month...
Natalie,
So sorry you had to search for it. I won't let myself go to the stores usually the first day because it psyches me out too much when I see the books unpacked, LOL. My husband went to a B&N and had to have them unpack them, too. Sigh. Can't to hear what you think!
Squee! Hope you've had a fabulous day! Haven't had a chance to get near a book-selling establishment, but plan to soon!
Thanks so much flchen. I did have a fun day. I'm going to hit a few bookstores today...hopefully they'll have made it out of the boxes! Can't wait to hear what you guys think of Jamie!
YES, I have it! And I didn't need to browbeat anyone at my B&N to unpack one for me!
I'm off to the beach for a little R&R with a "Highland Warrior" clutched in my hot little hands. Thanks, Monica, and congratulations! :-)

Yea, Val! I can't wait to hear what you think. The beach? I'm so jealous. I was by a Borders today and was relieved to see they had the book in stock and on the new arrivals table. I didn't see it the first time though. There are apparently a lot of yellow and gold toned covers this month. Sigh. The things you can't plan for...
Sigh. I'm suffering the curse of living in a small town. Nobody has HIGHLAND WARRIOR yet. If it doesn't show up next week (yes, they only stock books once a week) I'll be ordering from Amazon!
As I'm located overseas (Europe) I have to go through the agony of waiting until the books are shipped by the local online bookstores...But it's coming my way! And the Bookclub Hardcover Edition has been ordered to add to the collection *grin*
I can't wait to read these new books Monica! It's been too long since Highlander Unchained!!
Hugs,
Pearl
PJ, words to strike fear in every author's heart! That's exactly the reason I don't usually let myself go to the bookstore on the actual release day--I get freaked out when I can't find it. I'm so sorry you weren't able to track it down, but thank you so much for trying. Hopefully they'll get it out soon. Sigh. Can't wait to hear what you think when you DO get your hands on it. :)
Pearl,
I have my book club versions on the way, too. Here's hoping that overseas mail is quick. It has been too long, but hopefully having three all at once will make up for it a little. :)
YES! I was in another part of the county today and popped into a Wal-Mart to check out the books. As I posted before, my town's stores don't have HIGHLAND WARRIOR yet but, guess what? There it was, on the shelf in the other Wal-Mart! WOO HOO!!!
Okay, I'm off to walk the dogs then I'm going to dive into HIGHLAND WARRIOR!
Yea, PJ! Phew. I'm feeling much better now. :) It's good to know at least SOME of the stores are stocking when they are supposed to, LOL. I can't wait to hear what you think...
Monica, I just finished the book. It was wonderful! I don't want to leave this one behind but I can hardly wait to read Lizzie's story next. Will we see Niall again in any of the future books?
Yea PJ, Thank you for making my day! I'm SO glad you enjoyed Warrior and are anxious for Lizzie. And as for the rest, patience grasshopper...LOL.
I just picked up the new book. I loved it! I was really excited when you said you'd be doing a Campbell series and it was well worth the wait. I really liked that you made Argyll more of a 3 dimensional person rather than just the cold hearted person he's depicted as in history. Like you said atrocities were done on both sides. I'm looking forward to the next book about Lizzie. After learning about her in Meg and Alex's story I'm happy she's going to find love.
Hi Shamra,
I'm so glad you enjoyed the book and enjoyed what I did with Argyll! I definitely wanted to make him more three dimensional, it would have been really easy to paint him as the typical "bad guy" but I thought it would be much more interesting to give him a good side.
I'm sorry it took a few days for your comment to show up. I unknowingly turned on comment moderation and didn't see it until today. :(
Only three more days until OUTLAW! I'm so glad you are looking forward to Lizzie's story, I've heard the same thing from a lot of readers and I've really been looking forward to giving her a "Happy Ever After."
